Today was the first day the kids have been involved in buying anything for Fisher, I got him some clothing a few weeks ago but that does not really count as it was not fun stuff and the kids and Peter were not involved. Peter got home early from San Diego and we had a quick dinner and had to run to Target for school supplies for donation for VBS. The kids really wanted to get Fisher some stuff as we have been talking about getting him a backpack for when we go to pick him up to bring him home. We also have been talking about what we are going to bring him when Peter and I go to court. We are making him an album and a poster to hang by his bed and they wanted to bring him a toy. It is best the toy not be plush so we got him a plastic Buzz Lightyear he should be able to hold in his hand and carry around.
Harper, EB and Tate were so proud of all their purchases from the orange backpack to the glow sticks for night to the chalk to the matchbox cars. They were so thoughtful with everything we purchased him because we wanted to make sure he was not going to be overwhelmed with a toy being too hard or complicated. His backpack is packed and ready to go minus some embroidery.
