We were so excited to be invited to join other families from our IAN group who got together at The Ethiopian Diamond for dinner. We barely made it there but were so glad we did. Harper and EB are still talking about meeting Medina, their new friend from Ethiopia. She was so open and wonderful and telling them about her life in Ethiopia. It was very nice for the girls to be able to ask her so many questions. Harper has been a different girl since we met her and so helpful and has not complained nor whined at all since she heard first hand what it was like to carry water everyday and how it was to build her house with sticks and mud. Tonight Ellie said I am really lucky I can go and turn on my sink for water. Thanks Medina for sharing with Harper and Ellie. We cannot wait to see our new friends again.
