Making Ice Cream

Today I was a science center volunteer for Harper's class. She had a great time and I loved seeing her have so much fun.

Living in the Jungle

The girls were very entertained today in the jungle, the back half of the jumping room and they love its new theme. I gave them the camera and they let loose.

Let's go fly a kite!

Ellie has so much fun at school. Today they had time to fly a kite and Ms. Focht got these great pictures of her.

Lunch with the girls

Harper loves having Friday lunch with the girls. It is a big thrill for them all to come over for lunch. It was a great time, even with the burnt pizza for all the girls.

EB gets her weighted blanket

EB was so excited to get her new weighted blanket. It is so heavy I am not sure she can even lift it. As soon as she saw it she wanted it on her and was all smiles.

EB is 7

This morning Harper and Tate greated Ellie with a Happy Birthday to wake up. She pretended not to like it but was smiles just after I stopped the camera. I thought it was so cute how they worked together to make her morning start off special. Harper was a great help with Tate and EB so I could make Ellie her favorite breakfast -- crepes.

We went to Cici's Pizza for dinner. EB had been looking forward to it for so long. She just loves the macaroni and cheese pizza. Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Mary Ann, Ms. Focht and Andrew. It was great fun to celebrate her birthday there. Peter had to miss it because he had to work and then had a meeting. He did make her a special card with her new Sizzix machine and it was waiting for her on her bed when she got home.

This is the great fan that Grandma and Grandpa got EB. It had a very strong smell of roses. I think it will need a lot of fanning to not be so pungent!

She does that smell!

More paper for the "baby cricket". She said this was perfect because she did not have to cut it.

All her loot!

Grandpa and Tate enjoying the celebration.

The Baby Crickett

EB's birthday is tomorrow and she will be 7. The only thing she asked for was the Cricut die cut machine. Since that was very large, expensive and electronic she got the "baby cricut" instead. It is so neat. We got her different die cuts and lots of fun papers and a special storage bin. All the kids had a ton of fun making puzzle pieces. Tate said he could not stop looking at the puzzle pieces and kept having Ellie make him some. I think this has taken crafting to a whole new level in the basement. We gave her her gift a day early so she had all afternoon to play with it since she got home from school at 2:30.

All smiles.

Easter Afternoon

Ellie was so excited to have Andrew over for Easter. She was very patient with him and took so much time blowing bubbles for him. I love this picture.

Harper and Grandpa chilling out.

Ellie got a really big lollipop and Ms. Focht thought it would be relaxing for her in the bathroom.

Getting ready to eat dinner.

Dinner.

The Egg Hunt

We had over 800 eggs today for the Easter Egg Hunt. It was so much fun and next year we are going for 1600 eggs, per Ellie Witowski. She is thinking big!

The kids had a great time putting the eggs out. Such great fun.

Sneaky Harper placing it in a shrub.

As the kids were lined up for the hunt an squirrel got the egg and made a getaway with it.

Lining up!

The hunt is on!

Tate found the special egg with a webkinz ticket. Wonder if he had found it earlier?
