Tate Fall Tournament -- 2013

This hot, steamy, stormy Labor Day weekend Tate had a soccer tournament. It was wonderful to see him play so great. He played hard, was physical and gave it his all!

He deflected that ball nicely as goalkeeper.

110% focus -- LOVE IT!

He was quick to know what to do as goalkeeper with the ball.  I had to keep asking Peter why was he doing X or why was he doing Z.

Way to kick it Tate.

Truly he could not have run faster to win that ball.

Trying so hard to score and kept bring the ball up.

Love this picture because for a moment I see him as my little sweet smelling boy, not the big smelly boy he has become.

Total focus. 

Love the look on his face after throwing the ball in.  He gave it his all.

He took it hard.

And down he goes.

Fighting for that ball.

I so wanted to buy this picture just for Tate's face as he is so serious but at $75.00 this is as close as we are getting to the picture.

Day 2 -- everyone came to cheer him on and I finally caved and got the kids the Rainbow Loom.  Now they want more rubberbands as bracelets are being made fast and furious. Fisher wears so many they are 1/2 way up his arm.

Love that they are working together.  I prefer to take these pictures rather than those of them fighting with each other.  

Before the game Tate was in position to defend the goal and ever Fisher got in on the action to try to score against him.  Nice shot Peter!

Look at the next several pictures and see how hard Tate fought to get the ball.  He gave it his all, just like Coach Chris told him to do.

AND he has the ball!!!!!!

Being the goalie can be rough!
