Taming of the Shrew

We headed to Garfield Park Conservatory to see Shakespeare in the park, The Taming of the Shrew. We have been wanting to see Garfield Park Conservatory and a Shakespeare play and this killed two birds with one stone and it was FREE!!! And I should add super fun.

So much easier to get a picture of the 4 darlings when I can be assured they are looking at the camera.

A little fun walking around the "Great Lawn" before the play.

It was so fun to see all the beehives and meet the keepers.  Tate was a natural and had all kinds of questions.

Fisher was not so sure but he did put the hat on and play with the tool to pry open the beehive.

It was super fun to have the Harts join us.  Harper was in heaven with her bestie Anna there.

Posing afterwards with some of the actors.

Another beehive learning station stop and this time we got to taste some honey.

Before we got kicked out we got to see some of the indoor gardens and take a few pictures.

EB found a secret path and was super excited.

Tried to get one with the 4 kids but that was a no go but EB was all smiles.  Notice the sculpture above her, neat art was all throughout the conservatory.

Here they are all smiles, I told them we were not getting in the car to leave until they all took a nice picture together.  All I had to take was one picture.

Some beehives.
