EB gets crafty!

We had a very calm quiet weekend, spending so much time cleaning and looking for EB's nintendo ds. EB did get some time for crafting and made everyone in the family a special sign and Peter a book. Just took such time and they were great.

All About Me!

Today at school was Tate's day. He was star of the day and he had to do a poster "All About Me". He was so shy when he got up there to talk I could not believe it. It was so cute when his friends were asking him questions. The day was made even better that it was pajama day at school.

Chinese New Year

Today at school in Ms. Focht's class they celebrated Chinese New Year. Ms. Ow brought in lots of fun things for the kids and Ellie could not have loved the day more. She was so excited to show me everything. Ivy went to school with her Ellie and also had a lot of fun.

Polar Bear Swim

We went to open swim at LT South Campus today. It was crazy how cold it was outside but thought the kids needed some exercise and to get out.

I had a lot of fun with the girls swimming and racing. Harper was great with EB showing her how to do real strokes. The water was really really cold but we got used to it. Tate did not have the best time. He was so cold that Peter got him out of the pool and dressed so his lips would not be blue anymore. Tate was killing me walking around holding his pants up. Harper striking a pose! Tate did have some fun! Fun with Daddy!

Ellie did a great job going off the diving board and after 6 or 7 trips off the board she was done for the day.

Fun at the Apple Store

My iphone broke today and we went to the Apple Store to get a new one for Peter and I got his old one. He is pretty excited! The kids could not have had more fun doing videos and pictures. Here are some of the best from the store!

My cute little dragon

Ms. O's class had their fairy tale plays today and Harper was the Dragon. She was so excited about this play and did a great job. We were so proud of her and loved that she spoke loud enough so we could hear her.

Tate and sports!

Tate is taking Floor Hockey and just loves it. It is nice to see him play with his friends and be so excited about sports. He got out his hockey stick tonight to play in the house and he was so cute I could not tell him to go to the basement. I especially love that he used one of the small market totes for a goal. Way to get creative Tate! All of a sudden after dinner Tate got on the stool and was pretending he was skateboarding. He really just melts my heart but he is not getting a skateboard like he wants everytime he sees one!

Are there 2 Ellies?

EB came home from school happy as could be. She went downstairs and asked me nicely and sweetly to trace her body and she went to town drawing herself. I love how she punched a hole in it to hang it up. Look at that detail. It took her about one hour to do.

Watch out Michael Phelps!

Harper did really well in her last swim meet and was so happy. Not only did she improve her time by more than 2 seconds in the 25 Free but she was heat winner and winner for her group for which she got a gold metal. She only has 2 around her neck because it looks like they printed that event off twice. She took both metals and ran with them.

Cookies!

EB wanted to make heart shaped cookies for all the people she loves. It was a long process and I sooooo did not want to make cookies. She jumped through all the hoops I set up for her. She cleaned everything there was to clean and made her room sparkle so I had to make cookies with her. We had a lot of fun together. Look how happy she looks.
