We could not be more excited about our adoption of a little boy from Ethiopia. We started thinking about adding to our family this past fall. We felt all was calming down in our world and everyone was doing well that we could talk about it. I guess I ruled out having anymore children because of Ellie's struggles but realized she is on her own path and doing great on it! I can tell you we would not have done this without Ruthanne and her support in showing us the process. We decided for sure we wanted to adopt in January after Peter came home from being gone for a week and missed him a ton and he missed us a ton and we thought this is a great life, our family, 3 beautiful healthy children and we both wanted to add one more to it!
So this begins our journey to one special little boy in Ethiopia that we believe is meant to be ours whom we have named Fisher.

WOO HOO!!!! I am SO excited for you guys (and for Fisher!). I can't WAIT to watch this all unfold and to meet your beautiful son!
How lucky is your family to have a new addition. Welcome Fisher!! Cannot wait to follow you in the process.
So happy for your family.. soon to be growing!!
Congrats! So excited for you guys! Have you already found Fisher, or is he still a twinkle in your eye for now?
Not yet, Sal. There's a mountain of paperwork, home studies and at some point we're given a "referral" of a waiting child. So, it's sort of like pregnancy, there's the waiting and anticipation, even doctor visits but Jill's a lot less physically uncomfortable!
