Grandma Beda's 89th Birthday Celebration

We got to the nursing home in Indiana for Grandma Beda's 89th birthday party and Tate went right for Mary's DS -- she had guitar hero.

A bunch of us enjoying lunch.

Dad, Uncle Bernie, Aunt Mary Anne and Uncle Tom -- this may be the first time in 19 years they were all together.

With Grandma.

Happy 89th Grandma Beda!

Smile for the camera!

Some entertainment -- he cold sing a mean polka!

Ellie and Grandpa dancing -- nothing like a polka that says you are too fat to dance with me to make you want to dance.

A great family picture.

Some more pictures before we left.
David has a scooter and the first person he picked for it was Tate. Initially Tate was not sure about riding on the scooter with David but by the time we left it was like he was on an amusement park ride he liked it so much.

Ellie was ready to go right away and did not blink.

Harper not so sure but being a great sport!

David was so excited to show the kids the race car engine.
Ellie ready to race. She looks so little in the race car. I think she could have a future if it were not so loud!

Can you see Ellie waving?

Harper did not miss a beat getting and situated.

Tate and David right after David opened a beer for Tate so he could have the "special" cap and David wasted no time drinking that beer.

Ready to ride to the car. Tate is more ready to go this time.

After about the 12th loop around the car. Look at those smiles.

Hugging goodbye! David is off to get the girls.

Ellie on her the scooter to the car.

And Harper.

On the way home we went to Miner Dunn's for dinner and the kids were so excited. Peter was not so sure about it but he came around. Tate cleaned his chicken fingers off his plate to have his orange sherbert.
Grandpa and Ellie. Ellie LOVED their cheese sticks and still had room for dessert.
Daddy and Harper.
