Tate had a great year in 2nd grade with a great teacher, Mrs. Ali. I am so proud of his award -- Mr. Good Example. Way to go Tate!

Prepping for First Communion

Saturday is our big day and we are almost ready.  Shirts are pressed, hair is cut, shoes are bought as well as socks!  So excited that this big day is here for both boys and they get to share it together, makes it that much more special.  Even the fake mustaches have arrived just waiting for pictures come Saturday!

Just thought this was funny...

I was asking the boys what they wanted for First Communion and they did not even know they might get gifts. Tate thought for a long time and said, "The Body of Christ". When I told him he would get that at communion he quickly moved on to a Kinect Game.

Tate's Persuasive Writing

I just got this email from Tate's teacher....

We were creating a list of possible requests to ask for in our parent persuasives.  Tate raised his hand and said, "I could ask for us to adopt another brother from Africa."  AWWWWWWWWW.....SO CUTE!  He ended up going with a different idea he had...camping at some place this summer.  BUT...so sweet.

Brothers

I love love that Miss Sawisch send me little tid bits about Fisher and they do just melt my heart.  Fisher is such a good kid and so so kind. Truly both boys are best buddies.  As they say, BBF -- Best Brothers Forever!

"Miss Sawisch I have soccer game tomorrow. I have to wake up at 8 o'clock for game. I can't wait for Tate to score goal. I teach him soccer. I usually score more goal than him. I hope he gets more than me tomorrow. He getting really good."

EB's 10th Birthday Party

EB is 10, so hard to believe she has hit double digits -- officially on Monday! We could not be more proud of her and we love her very much. She had a great party where we showed those cakes who was boss!
Those cakes are just waiting to be decorated with the 12 pounds of powdered sugar we bought to make the for the frosting -- cannot think about counting how many pounds of butter and shortening it took!

We practiced on cupcakes first!

Harper was helper extraordinaire.

EB's cake

Peggy's Cake -- she had a very heavy hand with the frosting!

All the girls!

EB took blowing out the candles very seriously!

EB's first ever sleep over a friend's house -- Peggy and EB were so so excited!

Pure Cuteness

The girls were not thinking the boys were pure cuteness today but I always do even when they are evil!
