This Christmas we wanted to something to make it special for others. The kids know the real magic in Christmas is with them and making someone else's Christmas special, not with Santa. We were so excited to serve at Garden Pacific Mission in the city. We were all set to go but the flu has been going around our house and the only ones healthy enough to go were me, Harper, Fisher and Tate and Grandma. It was truly the magic of the season seeing so many different people from different walks of life come together to give back. Could not have been more proud of my kids for doing this and doing it with a smile and pure joy.
As we started our tour, the men and women where lining up to enter the chapel for Christmas Services and I have to say that it was clear that we were meant to be there and that is where we were called to be on Christmas Day.
After we made all the beds in the male dorms we headed to the cafeteria to get all the tables set for those that were having Christmas dinner at the mission. There were 713 seats needing to be set for Christmas Dinner.
