Down come the pictures...

When Peter and I moved into our house on Stone we only had Harper and I was very pregnant with Ellie.  We had a giant hallway and we envisioned filling it with pictures of our children as they grew.  In having to move, the saddest part for me was not having a place to hang our pictures.  When we walked into our new home and I saw the very tall ceilings and a blank wall going up the stairs, I knew we could be happy there with all our wonderful pictures.

We are going from this...

and we cannot wait to see our treasured pictures hanging in our new hallway....

Life is very good and we are so very blessed.

Hallway Art

When you are showing your home, no one wants to see your children's artwork but I need to have this memory forever.  In our new home, there will be no more artwork being brought home to hang up.   The stairwell is dirty, has outlines of the artwork up and lots of memories.

Memories from Peter's cubby and closet

Cleaning to move is freeing and yet sad.  I have to say I choked up a bit scanning these pictures and memories in.  These are things Peter has collected and saved in his cubby and closet and found yesterday.  Time goes quick and seeing these precious drawings makes life seem like it is passing way too fast.
