Gorgeous Sunday!

Today was a very full day and it is not over yet! We started with soccer for Fisher and then Harper and Tate had 2 water polo games (Tate only played a few minutes but Harper played straight!).  I picked Tate up from the pool and rushed downtown for his soccer game and Harper played 2 more water polo games. EB and I went shopping for a gift for her party tonight! AND it was Fisher's birthday. We do love full days filled with cheering on the kids!

Note that these days Tate is pretty much the only one that does not complain having his picture taken so there are a ton of him and Peter worked the table so no pictures of Harper in action.
Tate ready to play soccer.

Best picture of the day of the Birthday Boy!

Fisher is 10!

Fisher is officially 10 and Sunday, his actual day, was so darn busy we had to celebrate on Saturday.
EB took the chalk outside to wish him a Happy Birthday!

The best picture I could get of him with the cake.

A Special BFF!

There is something about a BFF that goes way back!

I took this picture of them tonight before Fortnightly and was choked up about how grown up they are getting and went searching for their pictures when they were little.

Northwestern Soccer

Today the boys' soccer teams were ball boys at Northwestern for the their game v. Michigan State. The weather was gorgeous and the boys had a wonderful time. So so so much fun. We want to go back next year.
Waiting to walk out with the team.

Coach Chris hanging with the boys.

Lining up!

All the boys got a player's hand to hold as they walked out for the National Anthem.
This picture melts my heart.  Tate is 16 and Fisher is 28.

Lined up.

Watching the 1st half.

Guess I should throw in a picture of the game we came to see. :)

Tate and Trevor.

A cute ball boy!

See Fisher all the way over there as far from his mother and the camera as possible.

Tate will always pose!

I snuck around the field to take a picture of Fisher and basically he told me to talk to the ball.

Fisher right after he told me to go away!

What is more fun than playing on the field and it is a big field.

Fisher has skills dribbling two balls back.

A bunch of the boys lined up for a picture.

Getting shirts signed.

Tate made sure he had everyone!

Walk in the city!

Today I stole away a few hours to do something totally fun in my book! I went on the Clickin Moms Chicago walk with my friend. I was a tad nervous in the beginning as I was not sure what to do and I was out of my box being creative about taking pictures of a subject that was not my family but I got into it. I decided to do my walk with my fisheye (was totally eyeing all the full frame cameras) and thought I would do some creative selfies.
Gorgeous late September day in Chicago where I dare say I was a tad hot!

Do you see me?

Nothing like a brand new black shiny car for a portrait.

All the times driving in Chicago under these overpasses on 90/94 I have never walked over 90/94.  What a cool view.

Have to love all the flowers around.
