Fun with the Benak Family

We are so excited our friends the Benaks are here from Chicago. Fisher has waited for 2 years to see Seid again. They were such good friends in Ethiopia it is wonderful to see them together.

First stop was Brookfield zoo.  Not sure we saw many animals but the splash pad was a ton of fun on a hot day.

Early the next day we headed to Chicago and hopped on a double decker bus for some fun in the City. I have never done the double decker bus tour but it was so great and you got to see so much.  If only we had more time to see more!

Water Polo Fun for Harper

This weekend is a water polo tournament for Lyons. Tate and Harper were both going to play but with Tate's staples he was out and it was just Harper. Peter has been up with her all weekend but I got to go and watch one game. Love seeing her play and she loves playing -- so great to see!

Happy 70th Dad!

Today we celebrated Grandpa's 70th birthday. We wanted to make the day and celebration as special as could be for him. Hope you enjoyed it dad!
