It was Fisher's turn for pictures and I may have to have bribed him with a cupcake.    Crazy how big he has gotten!

Grandma and Grandpa Love

Grandma and Grandpa came over and they were willing participants to model for me with my new lens!  So glad Tate even joined in.   

Harper the Scholar

Harper keeps getting academic awards and I could not be more proud.  This ceremony was for several school districts around where kids were honored for their scores on the ACT and SAT that exceeded a certain score in each category -- she got a medal for each category.  I love that we took pictures the next day and she was wearing her FEMME POWER Shirt.  GO HARPER!!!

Christmas in May!

I was gifted a new wonderful lens that I have only dreamt about and am over the moon. I was denied a picture by all my children so I had to resort to Peter Daniels as my model and finally I convinced EB to pose for a picture or two. Could not love my new Sigma 85 1.4 any more.

Skype from Ethiopia

It is always a good day when we get pictures from Fisher's family in Ethiopia and today was a great day because we got to Skype with his family in Ethiopia.  Truly, the joy and love from his mom, Marta, is more than enough to tear up.  I believe she had not choice but to give him up and continues to love him so very much.  You can see her love from so many miles away for the son that we both share.

Next time we Skype with them we will be able to see her two dresses that she is having made from fabric we brought for her and sent to her with a dear friend.  

Blackhawks Fun

How lucky were Peter and Harper, Tate and Fisher to get tickets to see the Blackhawks. They sat in a box and had a great time. They cannot wait to go back.

He is back in goal....

Tate got cleared about 8 hours before this game to play in goal again and all was right in his world and he had a couple of great saves and Fisher had a goal or two!
